is an image viewing, editing and batch processing utility.
SharperImage was designed with the multimedia and Web developer in mind. It offers a variety of image editing operations, including color reduction, resize, emboss, crop, swirl, rotate, add noise, blur, despeckle, normalize, replace colors, sharpen, and more. All of these commands can be applied in batch mode to groups of images.
SharperImage provides a straightforward method of creating animated GIFs. After selecting the input files, the output file, the delay time, and the number of times to loop, simply click the "Build" button.
Several palette manipulation commands are available. Palette tweaking lets you change individual palette color cells and immediately view the effect on your image. Palette spying lets you view the active palette changes as your multimedia application runs. This is very useful for CD-ROM developers. You can also compute and apply a single optimized color palette for a set of images.
