Booxter is an application to help you manage your book collection.It gathers book information from various sources on the internet to allow you to view, edit, sort, categorize, export, and print books in your collection.
What's New in This Release:
· All Amazon searches (US, UK, FR, DE, JP, CA) now properly display international characters.
· Added French localized version.
· Added "Previous" and "Next" buttons to the edit book panel so that you can quickly and easily edit books in a list one after the other (hold down the buttons to move through a list of books quickly).
· Added ability to track lending of books, with AddressBook support.
· Added book count, page count, total value, and total price paid of books in display.
· Added ability to choose book lists to export when exporting to a file.
· Optimized Library of Congress search to make it more efficient.
· Updated Library of Congress search to abide by newly released Library of Congress automated searching policy.
· Added price paid as an attribute.
· Added 'obtained from' as an attribute.
· Published field is now an autocompleting combo box.
· Update printing to make better use of space on the page.
· Showing rating as stars instead of numerically in filtered list.
· Using the user's default date format for all dates, instead of hardcoding a date format.
· Keeping filtered book list in sync and not clearing it when you add/edit single or multiple books from the browser view.
· Added 'search later' ability to multiple book add panel so you can add just ISBNs or LCCNs at once and backfill them at a later time.
· Showing book title in the 2nd panel of the edit book sheet.
· Starting a search immediately if a valid ISBN is scanned in in the single book add/edit panel.
· Moving cursor back into ISBN field when a new add or edit panel is displayed.
· Added audible feedback to ISBN entry in the add panel.
· Amazon JP target URL for searching updated to the newest site.
· Fixed issue in smart list where null number values were not being evaluated correctly in some cases.
