Each ant follows a simple set of rules, but complex behavior can emerge from the generated interactions.

Each ant appears on a pixel facing a random direction. It moves to the pixel in front of it. If the pixel is black, it changes its color and turns 90 degrees left. If the pixel is colored, it changes back to black and turns 90 degrees right.
