In depth
A closer look at QuickSpell
The program works with nearly every application on your desktop. No development or integration is required. Just install QuickSpell, and all of your applications immediately get spell checking capability. Now you can spell-check HTML forms, edit boxes, dialogs, word processing applications, and much more. A live indicator near the window cursor indicates whether the current word is spelled correctly or not. One hotkey checks the spelling of a highlighted block of text, another displays a list of suggestions in a popup menu, and yet another replaces the word with the best candidate. Additionally, the program can spell-check the contents of the clipboard, is able to use customized dictionaries, and provides support for foreign languages. It runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.
