Overview

What is Trayer?

lets you have applications minimize to the System Tray instead of the taskbar.

In depth

A closer look at Trayer

Normally when you minimize an application, its icon and title appears in the taskbar. With Trayer, you can save valuable taskbar real estate by having the application appear as an icon in the System Tray (next to the clock) when minimized. Trayer is especially useful if you run several applications at once and your taskbar tends to get crowded.

You can "tray" applications on the fly. There is an option to password protect any minimized or hidden application, and an option to "tweak" the target applications by disabling the "close" button, or keeping the window always visible on top of other windows.
