Proxy+ works with almost any type of Internet connection, including dial-up connections with randomly assigned IP addresses.

The firewall/proxy server can protect a network from attacks originating on the Internet. It features disk caching and proxy cascading (using cooperative proxy servers). A variety of Internet protocols are supported, including HTTP, HTTPs, FTP, Telnet, SOCKS, and mapped links (such as RealAudio and POP3).

The mail server can send and retrieve mail for multiple networked users. It supports intranet mail and it features automatic or scheduled dialing.

An intranet Web server is also included.
