"Ping" lets you ping a remote host to verify its running time and downtime. "Port Listener" lets you set your system up to listen on a designated port in order to trap illegal connections, or to spy on TCP connections. "TraceRoute" lets you trace the route to a remote host to find a server that is down. "WhoIs" lets you query the InterNIC database to domain registration information. "IP Scanner" lets you scan a block of IP addresses to determine what hosts are connected to your network. "Keep Alive" lets you maintain an active connection to your Internet service provider.
