ChickenPing can find your local host name and IP address and reverse the DNS of a host name to the IP or the IP to the host name.

You can also Ping a computer by host name or IP, and connect to a Whois server such as Internic to retrieve information about a domain and its registration information, or connect to an ISP's Whois server to retrieve information about a user's e-mail address.
