In depth
A closer look at Advanced Security Control
ASC extends Windows NT access control possibilities by allowing you to create a list of the 32-bit applications that you want to control and then define when a program from the list can be executed and by whom. In this way, you can forbid users from running undesirable applications (such as games) at certain time. Without totally locking access to the devices, ASC lets you deny individual executing programs the possibility of accessing certain storage devices, including floppy, ZIP, MO, CD-ROM, network, fixed, and RAM drives. The program also provides a multi-lingual interface.
