Overview

What is FileProbe?

provides a wide range of file management tools, including local file management, Web browsing, FTP uploads and downloads, file backups, and more.

In depth

A closer look at FileProbe

FileProbe eliminates the need to use separate browsing tools and utilities when handling compressed archives, local or networked files, and remote storage.

Some of its many features include a frame-based layout to allow the emulation of Microsoft Explorer, and customizable user layouts. You can also browse, modify, and create compressed archives just like ordinary directories.

Any number of file operations can be carried out simultaneously, including FTP uploads and downloads, backup operations, file search processes, and archive compressions.

You can browse any sort of storage media while transfers are in progress, and access printers, control panels, and all other shell services from within FileProbe.

Other features include: file splitting and merging, Unix to PC text conversions, and automatic resuming of files uploaded or downloaded by FTP.
