A closer look at Andy's File Descriptor
Most of the times when you install a new program on your computer, you’re asked whether or not you want to go through the help manual to get to know the it a bit better. However, Windows lets you view descriptions for quick understanding, but in case some files or applications are not equipped with descriptions, you can use Andy's File Descriptor to manually add one. It only takes a little while to install the application, so that all functions can blend with your system. Upon launch, you’re greeted by a simple, but pretty intuitive interface that doesn’t pose any accommodation problems. Although stored in a classic window frame, elements are easy to grasp and use because of this simplicity. The way the application works is by selecting a target file using the side panel that’s fitted with a tree view, and creating a new description. All files and folders on your computer are shown in the navigation panel, but there’s no built-in search function for an even faster identification of files. What’s more, there’s no support for drag and drop to quickly add files of interest.
