A closer look at WinPatrol

WinPatrol shows you the names of programs that are set to run when Windows starts up. It also displays the name of active tasks, including EXE applications that are running and DLL files that are loaded.

WinPatrol can show you a list of browser cookie files that are on your system, and you can selectively delete any or all of these files.

Other features of WinPatrol include: the ability to warn you when new cookies, or new Windows Startup programs have been added.

WinPatrol runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the taskbar.
