There are two controls included: TaxList and TaxSelect. Each provides a familiar user interface, and allow you to add payroll withholding calculations to your own software. These 32-bit ActiveX controls can be placed on your Visual Basic form to display and compute payroll taxes. Also included in the package is the ActiveX DLL, which may be used in a wide variety of ActiveX environments, including: Visual Basic, Visual FoxPro, Active Server Pages (ASP), Delphi, and many other languages. It also includes TaxEditor, which allows you to maintain your own tax tables.

After purchasing a subscription to the Tax Update service, you receive updates to your tables by e-mail whenever rates are changed, or you can download the latest table from the Web site.
