Vrml2OGL v1.01
is a VRML to OpenGL C source code console conversion utility.Given a VRML model file, the program generates the following three output files: an OpenGL file which holds the object drawing code contained in a C-callable function; a header file containing the function prototype for the object drawing function contained in the OpenGL C file, and a few #define statements and external variable definitions; and a data file containing matrix as well as material and color arrays which are made public by the header file. The resulting code can be included in any source code project.
In order to view a converted model, a light source and camera transformations at the least have to be set up prior to calling the object drawing function contained in the OpenGL file.
Included in the downloadable archive is the entire C/C++ source code necessary in order to modify and compile VRML2OGL.EXE.
