Web Text Finder provides rapid and easy access to the AltaVista, Excite, Infoseek, Lycos, and Yahoo search engine lists and their Web directories. You can search one or all of them simultaneously, specify up to four different search criteria, choose how many sites extending from the search engines you want to search, and configure the use of your proxy server. Entering each one of the four search terms is straightforward with radio-buttons defining the "and", "or", or "not" operators.

Simply enter what you are looking for, select the search engines you want to use, choose your operators, select "Start" and your search is running.

The results of your search are displayed along with a title and description of each page. Your results may be printed off and saved to an RTF file for your off-line reference. By clicking on "View Each Web Site", picking a Web site and the "Go To Web Page" buttons initiates your browser and loads the selected page.
