ActiveURLs Check and Get lets you check your favorite Internet sites automatically, and detect if their content has changed or has become unavailable. It notifies you via a popup message, by playing a sound file, or by sending you an e-mail message when such a change is discovered.

The program features a hierarchical tree-type system of folders, and an ability to filter out your bookmarks automatically according to your defined criteria.

ActiveURLs Check and Get includes an embedded HTML preview pane, which enables you to easily navigate through your favorite Internet pages and to find necessary information without loading your browser.

In addition, it allows bookmarks to be synchronized between Internet Explorer and Netscape. It supports both LAN and dial-up Internet connections (including proxy connections), and includes drag-and-drop capability.

The program can run as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.
