You can restrict data traffic to authorized transfer protocols, such as HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol), as well as filter and stop data packets, including Internet and intranet (IP), Netware (IPX), and NetBEUI (NetBios Enhanced User Interface) packets, while the PC is running.
SPHINX Personal Firewall offers protection against IP spoofing, a common technique to enter networks by indicating that a message is arriving from a trusted port, and provides remote and SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) management.
You can also use helpful wizards, choose whether activities are logged and encrypted locally or on a central logging server, set up filters and access time controls, and create multi-user and multi-device security profiles.
