is a cross-platform, multi-windowed, frame-capable Web browser that provides support for embedded TCL scripts.
BrowseX is primarily written in TCL: a lightweight, powerful, and reliable scripting language. It supports forms and form handling; GIF, JPG, and PNG images; and the FTP and HTTP protocols.
You can view, search, and save HTML and TXT files; cache Web pages; bookmark your favorite sites; access the history log; send and receive mail; and use plug-ins.
The program also includes a built-in editor, and support for proxy servers, DNS caching, cookies, and basic authentication.
Please note that BrowseX is still under development.
