lets you schedule e-mail transmissions according to inbound and outbound rules.
The program can check a directory for new files, and once detected, connect to the Internet and transfer them to a given recipient.
If recipients have MailRules installed on their PCs, the files can be placed on their desktop or at any other specified location.
You can automate file transfers and backups, launch specific applications upon receiving an e-mail message or prior to sending one, continuously check certain directories for updated files to be transferred, as well as automate repetitive tasks using the built-in scheduler.
MailRules integrates with Microsoft Exchange, Outlook, and Outlook Express, as well as any POP3- and SMTP-based applications, and can compress entire directories before they are e-mailed and automatically expand them when they are received.
The program also runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.
