is a CD and audio file player with a home-stereo style interface.
Beyond this, SuperSonic delivers many capabilities that neither a home stereo nor professional audio equipment can. It includes eight rack mount devices including CD Player, Midi Player, Wave Player, Wave Favorites, Midi Player, Midi Favorites, Mixer, real time Spectrum Analyzer, and real time Waveform analyzer. Each device has the look and feel of a real audio component, and it can be resized or relocated.
The CD/Midi/Wave players include all the essentials (and some not too essential features) such as repeat, shuffle, continuous, multidisc, intro, marker placing/jumping, and digital displays precise to 1/100th second. The CD Player supports up to 16 CD ROM drives, and supports downloading CD album data from the internet CDDB database. The Wave player can be used to independently play up to 16 wave files concurrently, and you can change wave speed/pitch in real time. Wave Favorites and Midi Favorites provide quick and easy playback of all your favorite wave files and midi sequences. The Mixer lets you save and load all your mixer settings.
The Spectrum Analyzer provides you with 16 bands of audio for both left and right channels in real time, and includes color/gravity control and special effects such as peak, split, fade, and cycle. The Wave Analyzer does the same but displays audio waveforms in real time and includes the ability to set up to 20 waveform trails.
SuperSonic also includes a powerful audio library to catalogue all your CDs and wave/midi files. Audio items can be searched for based on artist, title, or track name.
