A closer look at Contact Expert @Network

The default view displays a table of your contacts with an optional pane to display the selected record, enabling you to jump to a given record using the alphabet keys, scroll to browse the list, or use the "Find" feature to search for specific text in any data field.

Data records are extensive, featuring a six-tab form that includes not only the typical name, address, and phone numbers, but also any URL and file attachments, memos, a log of contact information, and even a link to the MapQuest site to generate driving directions.

Data forms offer three types of user-defined fields: text, date, and floating point number. The latter two include calendar and calculator pop-up tools.

Toolbar icons let you dial a selection, choose any number in the data record, or quickly send a MAPI-compliant e-mail message drafted on the pop-up text editor.

Contact Expert @Network also enables you to generate and print various reports, back up and restore the database, as well as import and export CSV and TXT files.

The program also runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.
