A closer look at Independence War

For more than a century, the interests of the Earth have clashed bitterly with the interests of the space colonies. The feud has evolved into a never-ending guerrilla war in space between the two sides: The Commonwealth and The Indies.

Independence War deals with the adventures of a 150-metre long, heavily-weaponed space vessel, The Dreadnaught, in which you take the captain’s seat. The game is broken into a series of missions, which must be accomplished to achieve the game objectives. Each mission advances the level of play and develops the overall story line.

Independence War is a simulation, but requires logical problem-solving skills, imagination, as well as combat skills.

This demo is entirely representative of the full game, allowing you to use all four bridge workstations. It includes full spoken dialogue and mission briefings.
