is an excellent replacement for the calculator that comes with Windows.
In addition to all of the standard mathematical functions, this general-purpose calculator offers financial functions, scientific functions, numeric base conversions, currency exchange rates (with daily Web updates), and Metric, temperature, time and date conversions.
It comes equipped with memory capabilities and it can be used to evaluate scientific expressions. In addition, all calculations are displayed on a scrolling tape which can be annotated, printed, searched, copied to the Clipboard, or saved to disk.
The conversion functions are for those who need to convert back and forth between Metric and English measures. The numeric base conversions mode can convert numbers between binary, octal, decimal and hexadecimal format. The Scientific Expression Evaluator is for solving complicated mathematical expressions. The Financial mode and the Adding Machine mode are for people who are used to working with money and financial calculators.
