It recognizes multimedia files present on one of your computers but not on the other and then syncs them to the libraries. Changes made to an itunes library will be reflected on the rest. The songs you get through the itunes store and the cds you import etc. For whatever reason you can also create a list of files that you don039t want to be synced with.
