lets you easily create desktop themes for Windows 95 and 98.
A tabbed interface leads you through each step.
First, enter details about your theme, including the name of the theme and any other information you wish to appear in the theme file, such as your company name, e-mail, and Web address. You then select the various icons that replace the standard Windows icons for "My Computer", "Recycle Bin Empty", "Recycle Bin Full", "Network Neighborhood", and "My Documents". You then select wallpaper images, add a screen saver, select sounds and cursors, choose different colors for different areas of the screen (such as the title bar, scroll bar, window frame, menu text, and more), and select images to use as startup, shutdown, and waiting logos.
You can preview your theme as it is being built, and when you're finished, simply select a folder where your theme files can be placed for easy distribution.
Along the way, you can even save and re-load your favorite color schemes, icon sets, cursor sets, and sound schemes.
Theme Freak also has the unique ability to allow you to select colors directly from any wallpaper image.
