The Scheduler lets you check and set not only your own schedules, but also those of other members in the office in real time. In addition, you can use the Whereabouts Board to check the whereabouts of the other members and send them messages. The Notice Board lets you register and check common messages and notices. All information is managed on the server, and any user can view schedules of any other user, just like his/her own. Of course you also have the option to set private schedules which cannot be viewed by any unauthorized user. Using these three functions, you can check the availability of other members and of conference rooms, and then send notice to the members about a meeting. Besides the users, you can also register other items, such as conference rooms or equipment, as resources, and set schedules for them.

The calendar lets you set common as well as private holidays and anniversaries, and also set and update schedules. You can display and print your schedules in daily, day of the week, weekly and monthly formats.

The To Do List lets you display a list of tasks to be done and set priority levels for each task. You can also check off whether they have been completed or not.

You can also exchange data in your R1 scheduler with the Palm Pilot Desktop, and then by synchronizing data using hotsync, you can carry your R1 schedules with you when you are on the move.

Schedule data can be easily imported and exported, making it easy to integrate with other applications. Further, the OLE support in the Notice Board and Whereabouts Board ensures seamless integration with other applications.
