is a fuss-free PIM that helps you stay in control of your time and information.
EDesk provides you with a system that supports delegation, planning, and tracking, while at the same time automating routine tasks such as managing contacts, filing notes, etc. The underlying principle is to help you make the best use of your time.
EDesk displays various icons in the tool-bar on the right which include: an Address Book to manage your contacts, Time Planner to plan your time usage, To-Do Lists to prioritize your tasks, Phone List to manage your outgoing calls, Follow-Up to track projects and delegated tasks, DayView to manage your work load and flag completed tasks, Letter Writer to invoke the word processor of your choice, Pop Run to launch frequently used programs, and Archival to keep history of completed schedules and tasks. The DayView section also features five utility options which include: calculator with currency conversion, dialer with long distance dial codes, world clock with daylight adjustments, Week-at-a-Glance display, and Trash Bin to delete items in the DayView List.
The Internet-friendly EDesk introduces four additional features including: Mail Centre to demystify the use of e-mail and fax, E-Dockets to provide workgroup exchange of schedules and tasks with others, Net Browser to browse an HTML file on disk or to surf the Internet, and wrist portability to carry your schedules and phone numbers on your wrist with a Timex 150 watch.
