Overview

What is Safety Net?

is utility for backing up critical system files or any files you specify.

In depth

A closer look at Safety Net

Its default setting backs up your key windows and system files, including all INI files, Registry Files, Startup Files, and Config.sys/Autoexec.bat. You can also have Safety Net backup all of the document or database files on your drive, for example, and it can compress (ZIP) them to disk with the directory structure intact. It creates PKZIP-compatible ZIP files without using PKZIP, and it can span multiple disks if required. It can also make a boot disk, unZIP your backups, and print file lists as requested.
