WinOdEan supports high volume data entry. It facilitates the creation of the data dictionary interactively. The same data dictionary is utilized further for creation, updating, or retrieval of the data. The screens are generated automatically and allow data entry both in browse and form modes. The data is created in SDF (System Data Format).
Some features of the program include: a conversion facility for xBase products, dBase, Clipper, FoxPro, and also for COBOL line sequential files; operator statistics for keeping track of operator productivity; support for data entry in both browse mode and form mode; an advanced data entry feature that encompasses character type checks; field level auto duplication, justification and mandatory field entry; a built-in sort and merge facility; and the ability to print hard copies to cross check the entered data.
