WELCOME TO THE UNIVERSAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE UFL: Universal Football League is a professional (American) football simulation. The teams in your league will grow and change through the years, as veterans retire and rookies enter the league. Free agency will change the make-up of each team, sometimes thwarting their plans for the championship. You have total control of the coaching of each team. You can play for as many of the teams as you feel, or allow the computer to control any or all of them. The general manager's role is taken by the computer, which runs draft day, and training camp. Your job: coach a team (if you so desire; I'm sure you do) to the Stellar Bowl. You can be a member of numerous league configurations from 8 to 32 teams. Pick your own poison. Some of the features included are listed below: Over 70 individual and 90 team stats are kept up with. The computer generates a season schedule, and picks playoff teams. At the finish of one season, the computer acts as general manager and ages the veterans, retires the worst 10% at each position, signs free agents, drafts rookies, and reworks the depth charts. Individual and season records are recorded, as well as a list of past champions being maintained. Multiple league configurations (8, 16, 24, 30, and 32 team leagues) are possible. You can play in many different leagues, as much as your hard disk space permits. Players and teams can be modified, given new names and ratings. Depth charts can be changed.
