People's General
is a turn-based strategy game that takes a speculative look at the Eastern Hemisphere in the year 2005.Triggered by the fall of the once great Soviet Empire, a lurking China strikes out to gain back its occupied homelands and to plunder Siberia's wealth of resources. Two campaigns let you fight the war as either China or the Russian-American Coalition. Armies feature hypothetical prototype weaponry based on extensive research of each nation's military development schedules.
People's General features new modern units such as Surface-to-Air-Missles, MRLS, Wild Weasels, and Attack Helicopters; longer ranged weaponry; a new interface layout and look; and more.
People's General is based on the Living Battlefield engine that made its debut with Panzer General II.
