When the game begins you own one plot of land on which you can build a company headquarters. Your company starts with a few workers, foremen, repairmen, and a small sum of money that you can use to begin building. Through precise resource management you compete against the computer or network opponents in one of five goal paradigms (Financial, Ego Mania, World Domination, Utopian State, or Build, Build, Build). These goals can be achieved through precise financial planning, constructing plants to process natural resources, building properties, managing the complex lives and environments of the inhabitants, and strategically attacking opponents.
Constructor takes the empire building and resource management of the best simulations and adds to it a strong dose of character interaction, humor, and strategic competition. It supports 4 player game play on a network or head-to-head modem action.
