Independence War
is a space combat simulation based on an original science-fiction story set in the future.For more than a century, the interests of the Earth have clashed bitterly with the interests of the space colonies. The feud has evolved into a never-ending guerrilla war in space between the two sides: The Commonwealth and The Indies.
Independence War deals with the adventures of a 150-metre long, heavily-weaponed space vessel, The Dreadnaught, in which you take the captain’s seat. The game is broken into a series of missions, which must be accomplished to achieve the game objectives. Each mission advances the level of play and develops the overall story line.
Independence War is a simulation, but requires logical problem-solving skills, imagination, as well as combat skills.
