Java Plug-in v1.3 Description:
enables enterprise customers to direct Java applets or JavaBeans components on their intranet Web pages to run using Sun's Java Runtime Environment (JRE) instead of the Web browser's default virtual machine. Sun Microsystem's Java Plug-in software lets users specify that their browser use Sun's implementation of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) instead of Netscape or Microsoft's default Java Virtual Machine (JVM). The plug-in provides full JDK support, including support for JavaBeans and RMI.
The JavaTM Plug-in is now included with the JRE Windows Production Release.
