By using its download option you can quickly find out whether there are any direct download links on a page. In addition, it will check up all links found so you will know how big the files are or if the links are broken. On a configuration side you can edit file type filter according to your preferences including use of wildcards, tell the program what to do if the same name file already exists in a local destination folder, set file size filters, choose download method, get download completed pop-up and/or sound notification and set proxy server parameters. Druid can work over secured SSL connections as well as with pages that require HTTP authentication.
