The program provides a fast, full-color emulation, and includes a built-in FTP client which provides you with compression, error correction, and support for multiple file transfers.

TigerTerm features a mappable keyboard function, common task automation using its macro language, and a robust and precise emulation of the following terminal types: Color ANSI, SCO ANSI, IBM 3270, IBM 5250, Videotex, VT52, VT100, VT220, VT320, VT420, Wyse 50, and Wyse 60.

It supports both TCP/IP networks and serial communications for connecting to remote hosts, and lets you set up multiple, concurrent sessions to any number of hosts, each with its own configuration, which can be displayed as an icon.
