If you would like to keep close watch on your bandwidth and number of bytes sent and received, Stat 'n' Perf provides a variety of features for doing just that. It reports information for the current Windows session, the current day, the current month, and the previous month. It also forecasts usage to the end of the current month, and has a "Custom Counter" that works like a stopwatch or trip gauge. The program can display its information in bytes, kilobytes, megabytes, or gigabytes.

Stat 'n' Perf lets you choose the display refresh rate (in milliseconds). You can make its window "always on top," and set it to load automatically with Windows. You can even configure an alert to notify you whenever upload and/or download figures exceed your limits. Several options are available for customizing Stat 'n' Perf's display graphs. It can handle several network adapters with separate counters, provides "safe file handling" to protect collected information from a Windows crash, and has provisions for configuring plug-ins. The program runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.
