Z-code Interpreter Program Jzip is a program that emulates a virtual machine created by Infocom, called the Zmachine. All Infocom games (including the famous Zork and many others) are designed to run on this virtual machine, and they are in a format called "Z-code". There are currently eight different versions of Z-code, and Jzip currently supports versions 1-5 and 8.
