is a breeding simulation teaching tool which allows the user to breed computerized organisms with an enormous variety of complex patterns.
This program enables you to breed square and rectangular organisms as they would guppies or dogs. Each organism is composed of 2,000 genes organized on two pairs of chromosomes. Billions of possible combinations give you the opportunity to create a new and unique breed, with the object being to create a stable strain of that organism.
The program offers a quick and non-messy option to teaching the basics of genetics and animal husbandry. The breeding itself is accomplished by simply dragging a female over onto a male, or vice versa, and organisms are born as full-grown adults.
The demo version includes a hint window that describes functions as you use them, and the user interface makes extensive use of the mouse, with pop-up menus and drag-and-drop features. Help files are included.
