provides functionality to selectively export information about various Windows NT network logical and physical devices.
DameWare NT Utilities Exporter includes a graphical interface with the ability to browse the network for domains or machines to be included in the export process. Once selected, export files can be created from the selected devices for the specified domains or machines. These devices may include computers, disk drives, groups, printers, members, services, and users.
A dynamic status report is generated in the message window at export time that provides key feedback during the export process. Properties can be specified to determine the output file types of text-tab delimited, CSV-comma delimited or custom delimited. Property settings also include the selection of four Windows NT machine types: primary domain controller, backup domain controller, server and workstation, for each of the devices selected for the export process.
DameWare NT Utilities Exporter generates a separate export file for each of the devices selected. The location and name of the various export files can be specified for each. Once the export process is complete, the generated files can be imported into your favorite spreadsheet or database software for reporting.
