This is very useful when you need to back up on size limited storage, without splitting anything. The group sizes can be any know storage size, or any other arbitrary size. This way there is no lost space when backing up. The created groups can be built on the hard drive by making new directories and copying, or moving, the files / directories of those groups. Doing this manually, you would try to select some files in the Explorer and check the total size to realize it's too low, or too high, and try again, and again... Using FileGroup, you would have to click a button. Very user friendly (drag & drop from the Explorer).
