SafeSerial OCX allows an application to be protected by simply dropping the component on the form, modifying a few properties and writing three or four lines of code.
SafeSerial is completely software-based. You can license applications remotely, via encrypted codes. If you ship your software, SafeSerial suports the use of key disks that can't be copied.
Other features include the ability: to create evaluation versions; rent your application instead of selling it; and configure it to work for a limited number of days or runs. It enables your application to work as a demo until you unlock SafeSerial with a code; if the program is copied, the new copy will become a demo.
SafeSerial can also protect network applications with floating licenses, so that your program is not fixed to a particular PC, but to a network drive.
