includes four ActiveX controls that provide all the building blocks you need for Internet application development.
Power TCP Winsock Tool can be used to implement a “Turn-Key” server with ActiveX controls. It allows you to develop Internet applications with superior buffer management, variants for supporting string and byte array data, and optional blocking.
Power TCP Winsock Tool provides four controls: TCP, DAEMON, UDP and RAS. The TCP control is used to implement TCP based upper-layer protocols, and used with the Daemon control to build simple server applications. The Daemon control is used to accept passive connections. Whereas TCP can accomplish a single active connection (by using the Connect Method), the Daemon control can accept an unlimited number of connections that you can assign to unique TCP controls for management. The UDP control is used to send and receive User Datagrams and raw IP Datagrams. The RAS control is used to establish a Remote Access Server (RAS) connection to a remote communications server.
