displays the current sunlit-side of the Earth in an icon. You also have the option to show the Earth as seen from a point in space directly over where you live, so you can watch the advancing and retreating shadow traverse the globe. You can specify the icon's title to display the current time and/or date in many different formats and in 56 languages, and you can change the icon's background color and rotation direction. EarthSun even adjusts automatically for daylight savings/summer time for users in the United States, the UK, and Europe.
By double-clicking the EarthSun icon, a screen displaying your local Sun and Moon rise and set times is displayed. You may print this information, and perform multi-day calculations for any range of dates.
EarthSun can display an analog clock either by itself or super-imposed on top of the Earth icon. Three alarms are also available to remind you of important appointments. The program can also be a talking clock/calendar (if you have a sound card). This feature will "speak" the time and/or date whenever you want it to, and it can also play WAV files at specified intervals.
