If you enjoy making song compilations, RecWise should interest you. It helps you build song lists from your CDs and MP3 files, and shows how many disks or tapes you need to record the selections. The program also determines the best recording sequence for various media types, according to different optimization methods.

A "Session Wizard" helps you create recording sessions. You just specify the media type (such as, CD-R or cassette tape), media length, quantity available, reserve time, and optimization method. A "Smart Typing" feature lets you forget about the "shift" key when entering song names.

RecWise can build track lists directly from your MP3 files, display ID3 tag information, and play songs with your default MP3 player. It can save track lists for reuse in other recording sessions, and even load and save CD information in the Windows CD Player INI file.
