A closer look at DiskSpan3

DiskSpan can be accessed easily from anywhere in Windows. Simply select the files you wish to compress, right-click to bring up the shell context menu, choose Send To, and select DiskSpan. DiskSpan will then prompt you to insert diskettes or other removable media as it creates the spanned ZIP file.

DiskSpan can also copy or move files anywhere on your computer. If you are copying to disk and the file is too big, DiskSpan will automatically compress and span it across multiple disks. It can automatically erase floppies before spanning or copying.
