A closer look at Malkari
You take command of a single Chapter of one of the Five Guilds of Malkari, and attempt to lead their brethren to ultimate glory by exploring and conquering the entire star system.
The Malkari system itself has been devastated by an astronomic catastrophe. All that remains are hundreds of asteroids, each drifting in its own eccentric orbit. These asteroids will form the power base for the Five Guilds, as they design and build starships to locate and mine valuable minerals to support their further expansion.
The Guilds will inevitably fight for control of these resources, as well as the valuable scientific banks left behind by their lost ancestors. Control of the scientific banks carries immense political weight, and custom-designed warships are the tool of choice when attempting to win such control.
Ultimately, one Chapter will master these challenges and control enough asteroids to achieve total political victory, and appoint its leader the first Imperator of the New Age of Malkari.
