A closer look at Force

Each particle can be assigned a mass, charge and radius. Force will then calculate the paths of the particles and animate them accordingly. The program uses one of four numerical ODE solvers (Euler, Runge-Kutta 2, Runge-Kutta 4, and Modified Euler) in order to calculate the trajectories of the particles.

The system uses the law of gravitation, Coulomb's law and collisions as the forces acting on the particles. It comes with a number of built-in systems, such as a binary star system, ideal gas, the solar system, monkey in the tree, and lets you create your own systems.

The program also allows the plotting of both lines of potential and field lines, for both electrical and gravitational forces.
