lets you automatically run applications, batch files, command lines, etc. when Windows shuts down.Shutdown Launcher can create a "Shutdown" directory on your Start Menu. When Windows 95/NT shuts down you can: automatically run any programs (shortcuts) located in the shutdown directory, have Shutdown Monitor query you at shut down and select which programs you would like to run, select not to run any programs, cancel Windows shutdown, shutdown Windows at a certain time, and log all program actions and/or errors to a log file.
Shutdown Launcher also lets you selectively execute stored commands and command lines at shut down (anything that you can Run from Start>Run, you can execute from Shutdown Launcher, including DOS commands). It can show a user-defined message before or after a command runs and assign a user-defined action to be taken, depending on the selection that you make. You can also: set the maximum number of times to run a command in a single day; select to run a command daily, once a week, once a month, or once a year; select a run mode for the command (minimized, maximized, normal); and select a time limit for programs to run before they are automatically ended.
Shutdown Launcher will run minimized in the System Tray, or in the background. It is "user profile" aware, so you can have different Win95/NT user profiles, and each one will have their own Shutdown directory.
