A closer look at BioDrummer

You can create fantastic sounding rhythms, even if you know nothing about music or percussion. It works by letting you choose a percussion instrument, and then add randomly-placed notes one at a time. By keeping the notes you like and discarding the rest, you can "grow" your own new rhythm.

BioDrummer has a selection of 62 built-in percussion instruments, including congas, kick drums, hi-hats and snares. You can also import WAV files as percussion instruments, and export rhythms in WAV format. BioDrummer offers 18 different time signatures to choose from along with three built-in reverb algorithms.
